I love the exhilarating rush of creating on-location content. Whether it’s shooting stills, or video: there are all kinds of environmental challenges in your path: managing equipment, ever-changing lighting conditions, wardrobe & styling, as well as talent factors that all need to be accounted for while simultaneously operating a camera. Each shoot is a testament to everything you’ve learned as a professional up to that point – and there’s no greater feeling than rising to the occasion.
Some shoots are an unbelievable challenge, others you can’t believe how smoothly it went. Thankfully, this particular shoot was the latter – despite our production rig breaking down on the way to the second location, LA traffic robbing us of precious daylight hours, and a treacherous hike into wild donkey country.
Shot on-location, this rapid-turnaround fashion editorial video & stills project was showcased at the grand premiere of the launch of the fashion line, and was featured on a massive LED wall to serve as a looping fashion show attendees were able to watch while walking around and discovering the production prototype pieces in-person.
